Statistical experimental design

To efficiently identify formulation grades, Arkema uses statistical, experimental design techniques.

Statistical experimental design principles offer researchers a myriad of efficient tools to explore and optimize formulation grades with or without identified parameter boundaries. In each experimental design study, multiple experiments are carried out to measure the specified responses, such as physical properties, as a function of the experimental conditions as in temperature, pressure, concentration of surfactant, or reaction time.  The resulting data sets provide information on the independent and synergistic effects of each variable/condition on a specific response.
