Micro infrared spectroscopy
Micro infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy is routinely applied to generate 2D (x,y) compositional samples.
With a spatial resolution of approximately 20 microns (µm) FT-IR can be applied to analyze a variety of sample sizes and topographies and can be run in transmittance, reflectance and ATR configurations. Unknowns, defects, residues, multi-component systems and complex architectures can be identified in conjunction with our vast spectral databases. Additionally, mapping data can be analyzed using chemometrics and image analysis techniques to effectively extract key information from large data sets.
